Government Girls Polytechnic Dehradun has situated in suddhowala 2 km from Premnagar. Currently, GGPD is providing diplomas in four streams Computer Science And Engineering, Modern Office Management and Secretarial Practice, Electronics Engineering, Interior Design, and Decoration.GGPD campus is located at the heart of Dehradun city. Admission to diploma courses for polytechnic is made through JEEP (joint entrance examination ) conducted by UBTE Roorkee in the month of May every year. Application forms of JEEP are made available by UBTE Roorkee during the period of January -February at all polytechnic institutes. Candidates selected in the entrance exam are allotted institutes as well as courses of their choice on the basis of the rank attained by them through online counseling.
