The Institute began its journey by enrolling 15 students in two majors: Electrical Engineering and Instrumentation. Computer engineering undergraduate programs began in 1985. With the addition of the electrical and electronics industry in 2013, the number of courses increased to four, and 240 students are currently enrolled. Many students who have graduated from this institution have achieved great things in their personal and professional lives and brought glory to the nation through their contributions. The college is located in Kanattupara, 2 km from Pala town, on the Pala-Thodupuzha road.
