Facilities and Infrastructure

Residential Accommodations:

The institute has three separate hostel buildings on campus. In hostels, about 150 students are being accommodated where they are being given hot water and filtered drinking water. Geysers are provided for winter and a water cooler for summer. The recreation hall of the hostel is facilitated with cable connection TV, a music system, newspapers, and journals.

Library:

The institution has a modernized, computerized library having 18,000 books and documents including CDs. It subscribes to several periodicals and all leading national newspapers.

Auditorium:

The auditorium has a capacity for 450 audiences and is fitted with a 35mm projector. The students use it for various extracurricular activities.

Computer Lab:

Since most of the courses having computer application as a compulsory subject, the institute has three computer labs. One lab is facilitated with LAN based on Windows NT and has 14 clients. There are about 40 computers available to the students during class time in the institution.

Cafe/Mess Facility:

Mess is catering to about 150 hostellers where very nutritious and hygienic food is served and a balanced diet is provided to the students. The dining hall has a provision for approximately 100 students at a time.
