Training & Placement for Government Polytechnic For Women(GPW), Jammu

In the World Bank-assisted project, the institute has set up an institute called the Training & Placement Cell (TPC) to offer Industrial Training and placement services to students. The cell can offer Industrial exposure and training to students. This Training & Placement Cell conducts campus interviews and aids students in finding jobs. They also provide counseling and Guidance to help students become entrepreneurs.

The Training & Placement Cell facilitates the process of placing students who graduate from the Institute in addition to collaborating with top institutions and organizations in the setting of the establishment of internship and education programs for the students. The Training & Placement Cell provides the infrastructure necessary to conduct discussion groups, tests, and interviews. The TPC collaborates with a variety of industries within J&K as well as the surrounding States to conduct campus-based interviews.
