Govt.  Sirsa Women's University of Applied Sciences is located approximately 5 km away. from the main bus stop and approx. 4 km. from the city railway station next to the civil hospital. This institute was established during the session 1985-86, every year 30 students were admitted to Haryana Technical Education Department to impart technical education to women. Today we have 04 Diploma courses under the guidance of mature, dedicated, experienced, and highly qualified staff. 

The institute spreads over an area of ??about 15.6 hectares. The campus has teaching cards, workshop blocks,  two girls' hostels, a canteen, a gymnasium, a playground, a hostel, and staff quarters.

The institute includes large, well-ventilated classrooms and state-of-the-art laboratories that provide students with hands-on learning opportunities. For students and lecturers to be updated on every information topic, the library of the institute has a total of more than 40,000 volumes and 1,000 reference books. 

Placement  

The institute often organizes seminars and extension talks conducted by professionals from various renowned companies and firms to introduce students to the latest knowledge and help them keep up with the rapidly evolving technological trends. To introduce them to practical work in a real industrial environment, the institute takes students on field trips to various industries. In addition to increasing theoretical understanding, it creates a link between theory and practical practice. In addition, students must undergo a six-month industrial training program in various renowned companies and federal, state, and local government agencies.
