Government Polytechnic, GulzarBagh is one of the oldest Government Ploytechnic College established by the Government of Bihar under the Department of Science and Technology. It began its first academic year in 1954 at the Gulzarbagh campus Government Polytechnic, Gulzarbagh. The Polytechnic college was comprised of eight engineering departments namely Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, Ceramics, Textile, Printing Electronics, Computer Science as well as Computer Science with a total intake of 60 students per branch, excluding Ceramics and Textile, having 30 seats per branch .
