Govt. Hisari University of Applied Sciences was founded in 1992 to improve the employability of young people by equipping them with the latest technical skills for suitable work through technical training. In 1992, undergraduate courses in plant maintenance and industrial electronics were launched, with  15 students in each field. 

Courses Offered

University Campus 

The institute is located on the Sirsa-Delhi National Highway (NH-9) Hisar and is spread over an area of ??about 40 acres. The campus has a significant green cover and is largely unaffected by the pollution of the rest of the city. The institution has commendable infrastructure and an aesthetically designed building with a beautiful landscape.  

The campus is divided into building groups. The academic area mainly consists of the main building, various departmental buildings, and a convention center. All additional buildings of the department are connected by a corridor. The institute has spacious and well-conditioned classrooms, and laboratories equipped with the latest and modern machines and equipment to provide updated practical knowledge to the students. The teaching center has full CCTV surveillance. Free high-speed Wi-Fi is available for the students of the institute, free high-speed Wi-Fi is also available in the hostel. 

Library 

GP Hisar Library is a modern library designed for the information needs of students, faculty, and staff of various departments of the institute. One reading room 60 with 20 seats (E-library) is equipped with a seasonal section where all magazines, newspapers, and magazines are displayed. The library has a rich collection of approximately 43,000 volumes in the fields of technology and engineering, applied sciences, and management. The library also subscribes to its readers 16 magazines, 15 e-magazines, 02 International Magazines 18 magazines, and 12 newspapers. The library provides book banking services to  SC/ST and poor students of the institute 

canteen 

Our educational institution has a canteen for students and staff which is very neat and clean. All kinds of food, such as snacks, soft drinks, tea, coffee, food, and various edible foods. The canteen is under  CCTV surveillance. The canteen has adequate seating for students. 

Placement 

The institute has a full training placement cell which aims to provide 100 percent placement to our students. The quality of placement is improving day by day. The first Job Mela was organized in the institute on 06-08-03-2019 which was very successful and students from all over Haryana were placed in various industries. 16 industries participated in the JobMela viz. During this Job-Mela, 150 students from our institute received an internship.
