the college provides a well-ventilated spacious classroom to accommodate about 75 students per branch per classroom. The Govt. Women's Polytechnic Ranchi has its own library is an invaluable resource for students and faculties of diploma engineering. The college library occupies a position of pride and importance at GWP. The library has over the year built a robust collection of over 1,89,270 books, 30,000 bound volumes. The GWP library is an authentic knowledge of repository knowledge with over 3000 titles, 31022 copies, and 10 National journals/periodicals, and also contains a number of magazines of repute.

Lab Facilities:

In Chemistry Lab more than 1500 chemicals are present like H2SO4, HCO3, NaCl, NaNO3, etc. All the equipment under the syllabus can be completed by the compound present in Chemistry Lab. Extra apparatus are also available.

Hostel Campus:

GWP'S concern for the well-being of students is amply reflected in its arrangement for a holistic campus life. The institution has two hostels for girls on campus. Designed aesthetically, all hostels have been built to ensure a comfortable stay with air & light aplenty.
