Government College, Bherian (Pehowa) is a co-educational Degree College. It was established in April 2013 on the land and building donated by the Gram Panchayat, Bherian. The purpose of setting up of this college in this rural area was to bring the students of this educationally backward area to the main stream by providing higher education to its youth, especially the girls. The College is affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. The first academic session of the college started in July 2013 with two streams, namely Arts and Commerce; the Science stream (B.Sc. Non-Medical) was introduced in this college in July 2014.

The first instructional consultation of the college began in July 2013 with streams, particularly Arts and Commerce; the Science stream (B.Sc. Non-Medical) become added to this school in July 2014. The College is unfold over eight acres of land, and the campus includes fifty-four classrooms, laboratories, offices, etc. At gift 740 college students are enrolled in B.A., B.Com, and B.Sc. (N/M) courses. The faculty of the College includes 29 enormously qualified, well-skilled, and committed teachers.

Computer Education is obligatory for all college students of TDC-1. Certificate of Basic of Computer Education Level-1 is being given to the scholars of B.A. 1st and B.Sc. (NM)-1st-year college students.
