Government College, Bherian (Pehowa) is a co-educational Degree College. It was established in April 2013 on the land and building donated by the Gram Panchayat, Bherian. The purpose of setting up of this college in this rural area was to bring the students of this educationally backward area to the main stream by providing higher education to its youth, especially the girls. The College is affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. The first academic session of the college started in July 2013 with two streams, namely Arts and Commerce; the Science stream (B.Sc. Non-Medical) was introduced in this college in July 2014.
