This college was set up in 1970 and is a well-known educational institution from Faridabad, Haryana. The name was originally Government College Faridabad, it has been a place for higher education for more than 50 years now. The college is a member of Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, and its curriculum includes undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma courses in different fields.
