Government Degree College Budaun,(U.P) was established in 2004 by the State Government of Uttar Pradesh as one of the pioneer institutes of Higher Education with a vision to provide low-cost higher quality education in Arts, Science, and Commerce at their doorsteps to the students of this urban primarily residing in a rural area covering all category especially weaker sections of the society. This urban area of Uttar Pradesh was devoid of such higher education and at present is the only college of Art, Science and Commerce in this city with an aim of providing higher education at minimal economic cost through optimal utilization of available resources. The college has a Co-Education system and the motto of this institution has been besides education, to inculcate moral values among the students and live up to the expectations of good citizenship.
