The government polytechnic college Bikaner was established in 1960 by the government of Rajasthan. It is one of the oldest polytechnic colleges in Rajasthan. Awarded North India's Outstanding institution Award for 2015-16 and Best polytechnic college in north India in 2009-10 by the National Institute of technical teachers training and research, Chandigarh. Located in the middle and heart of the city College is spread over 45 Acres of land and constructed on 8616 Sq Meters.
