G. R. Patil College Arts, Science, Commerce and B.M.S, Thane founded by Late Shikshan Maharshi Honorable G. R. Patil Sir in the year 2004-05. The Stone Laying Ceremony was conducted at the hands of Hon’ble Shri. Arunbhai Gujarathi (then Chairman – Maharashtra Legislative Council) & Dr. Bhalchandra Mungekar Sir (then Vice-Chancellor - University of Mumbai ).

Library:

The College has a Library Resources Total collection of Books 14891, Donated books, E-resources, Non – book material, Audio – video CDs, Total journals and periodicals, Magazine, Newspapers 5, and Reference Books. The College has Area- Carpet area – of 603 sq. ft., a Reading room area:- of 377 sq. ft., Reading room capacity:- of 36 users. 

Auditorium:

A well build ‘Auditorium’ with a seating capacity of more than 100 in 800 sq. ft. with good audio–visual quality for a seminar or conference.

Science Labs:

Science is not just different than other subjects, the entire process of doing science is different. Discoveries made in science are done so through the process of experimentation which is performed in a laboratory, more commonly called a science laboratory. The College has Saperate Lab for Botany & Zoology, Chemistry, and Physics.

Computer laboratory:

In this age of computer technology, early exposure to the basics of computers readies the students for the future and also helps them to overcome any institutions they might have towards computer usage. The college’s computer lab has a dedicated broadband internet connection for students to make them familiar with the modern digital age.

Medical Facilities:

The facility of First Aid kit is available for the students and the doctors are associated with the college.

Sports Facilities:

State–of–the–art sports facilities, sufficient material to facilitate sports activities (Cricket, Football, Badminton, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Athletics, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Chess, Carom, etc.

Gymnasium:

 Well–equipped gymnasium which provides both types of facilities. Badminton and basketball courts are inside the premises.

Cafe/Mess Facility:

Nutritious breakfast is available in the college canteen. Subsidized rates are provided for the students. Meals are also available on prior intimation.
