GSSSIETW, Mysore Admission
For UG programmes, admissions at GSSSIETW Mysore are based on KCET and COMED-K UGET. Karnataka PGCET/GATE scores for engineering programmes and PGCET/K-MAT for MBA courses are used to determine admission to postgraduate programs. Candidates must take part in the centralized counseling process after taking the exam. The Karnataka Examinations Authority administers the tests and provides counseling. GSSSIETW Mysore offers about 800 seats in total for all of its programmes.
Admission Procedure - UG
Eligibility criteria
The candidate shall have passed the second year Pre-University or XII standard or equivalent examination recognized by the University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Biology, and has secured not less than 45% of the aggregate marks in optional subjects with English as one of the languages.

UG Application Process
- Register and appear for KCET (for Karnataka students) and COMED-K UGET (for Non-Karnataka students)
- Register for the centralized counseling process of KCET and COMED-K UGET (both take place separately)

- Kannada medium certificate.

- Parent’s study certificate / Hometown certificate / Domicile certificate / Employment certificate / Cumulative record / Marks card, etc., for the candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats based on the parent's domicile/study/employment.
- Duly sworn in the affidavit of the candidate who claims eligibility under Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga clauses C and D. (Regarding Mother Tongue)
PG Admission Procedure
To be admitted into the M.Tech courses, one has to appear for Karnataka PGCET /GATE. The admissions to the MBA course are conducted through Karnataka PGCET MBA. After appearing for the exam, candidates have to register for the centralized counseling process.
