Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology (GTBIT) is a private engineering college affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University , Delhi. It was established in 1999 by the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC).
The Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology (GTBIT) was established in 1999 by the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee [DSGMC]. The college is named after the 9th Sikh Guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur. It is a private engineering college. The institute offers a B.Tech. course in four specializations, divided into four departments.
Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology (GTBIT) is recognized by UGC, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and It is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), New Delhi. The campus accredits National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology (GTBIT) courses are offered at various levels like Undergraduate Degree (i.e B.Tech.). You can also find a brief overview of the different courses offered by the university in the different disciplines with their specializations on the course page.
The campus has Lecture Halls, Faculty Rooms, Seminar Halls, laboratories, Medical Room, Library, Reading Hall, Faculty Rooms, Conference Hall, Computer Center, Training and Placement Office. The campus has a health center with a first aid facility for the students. The University has a well-equipped dispensary with 24 x 7 doctors with ambulance service.

The admission process of GTBIT is conducted every year in May and June centrally through the IP University admission process. Admissions take place online and are based on merit and the score obtained in the respective entrance exams. Candidates passing CET or who have a valid JEE Main course can apply for the B.Tech program.
Merit cum means scholarship is also rewarded to the meritorious students. Scholarships are facilitated by the Delhi Government. Anyone can apply for a loan facility.
The placement cell organizes training and discussion programs among the final year students and also mock interview tests. The placement cell also arranges the campus recruitment programs for the deserving final year students. They allow students for the summer industrial training and internships also. Major Recruiters that come for the placement are Infosys, HCL, Sapient, L&T InfoTech, NIIT, Hitachi, AON Hewitt, and many more.
