The Gurajada College of Education was founded in  1984. under the guidance of the Gurajada Educational Society in Srikakulam with the noble mission of preparing the future teachers of the nation. The institution has been authorized to offer a one-year B.Ed., a programme with an intake of 160 seats from the academic year 1994-85Under G.O Ms No.428, dated 8-9-1984.
