Library:

The University library building is a marvel and a masterpiece of architecture. This building is five storeyed, inverted pyramid-shaped magnificent building directly visible from the gate of the university on the Grand trunk road. It's centrally located with teaching departments all around. The library is subscribing to 65 Foreign and 124 Indian Journals. in addition to that, Library is also receiving about 150 journals as gifts. The library may be a member of INFLIBNET UGC-Infonet e-journals Consortium Programme which is providing access to 7032+ e-journals and a few databases. Most of the disciplines are covered within the e-journals. Besides, Bhai Gurdas Library is additionally subscribing to over 2200+ e-Journals and 4 databases. Sports complex:

Department of Education (Allied Teaching) organizes games and sports within the affiliated colleges to lift the University teams in various disciplines. The department has gained national recognition due to its hi-tech sports facilities and excellent achievements at the inter-university, national and international levels. It also has an open-air gymnasium for providing good shape training. The indoor gymnasium is likely to return in a very moment. The department has one Deputy Director, two Assistant Directors, and 12 full-time coaches in different games to coordinate coaching and training activities. It offers nearly 50-55 NSO scholarships every year to promising players and maintains separate sports hostels to lodge nearly 200 players at a time. The sports achievements of his University are unparalleled in the history of University games in India. it's won India’s prestigious Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Trophy for being the overall best University for a record period of 16 times. Remained runner-up 8 times and third 2 times. It's also won the Dr. B.L.Gupta Overall General Championship Trophy which is awarded on the basis of Inter-University (men and women) tournaments 10 times, got runner-up position five times, and remained third 5 times.
