Guru Nanak Institute of Technology was founded in 2009 by the Guru Nanak Educational Society. GNI is a fully computerized library with a total area of 562 Sq. M. and a comfortable reading room for staff and students, with a seating capacity of 200. It is equipped with computers and internet connectivity that allow staff and students to keep up to date their knowledge with the most current information. Our library is a huge with a wealth of information and an extensive selection of journals and books. The books are organized by title and subject. A copier service is offered to students. We have 19268 total numbers of books, 3066 numbers of titles and 48 journals, as well as 8 magazines and 663 number of E-books, 457 CD's and different international and national journals.

Sports

To improve the overall character of students by enhancing their physical fitness, teamwork, leadership qualities and a healthy, healthy minds GNI offers the latest outdoor and indoor facilities. To ensure that the saying is "sound mind in a healthy body', the institute regularly organizes sports events and encourages students to take part in National, State, and University National levels of sports.

Football, cricket, volleyball and kho-kho fields and well-equipped basketball Hard Courts and indoor facilities for sports are offered. An annual Sports week is held and prizes are given to winners groups and individual. The University offers Incentives Marks to encourage participation in sports.

Transportation

GNI offers convenient and secure transportation for students who pay a subsidized price. The collage owns its own bus fleet that offer a shuttle service to staff members and students from the assigned locations in Nagpur as well as Katol. The number of MSRTC buses arrive at the collage on time. A bus stop is located at the gate of the collage. The institution is home to 16 buses that are available for the use of the students who are studying in the morning as well as the staff. The bus facilities are used for local trips as well as educational excursions.

The training & Placement cell is headed by the T & P Officer assisted by a person from different departments. The following events are planned in this T & P cell: Recruitment on campus Industrial Training, Industrial tours, arrangement of project activities at factories, interaction with industry and entrepreneurs, as well as apprenticeship training. At GNIET it is emphasized on the preparation of students for the business world. We are planning to employ several unique programmers to will test the physical and mental ability of our students. Special training sessions are scheduled on training for soft skills and etiquettes, negotiation skills , and effective communication in order to assist students with personal grooming.
