Guru Ravidas Ayurved University, Hoshiarpur has been established by the Government of Punjab for the upliftment of AYUSH in the state of Punjab and country as a whole. By making earnest efforts, it started functioning w.e.f 1st February; 2011.

Admission for the undergraduate courses is based on the merit scored in NEET-UG followed by counseling. After the result declaration of the entrance test, Postgraduate admissions will be based on the merit scored in AIA PGET.
