GURU SHREE SHANTIVIJAI JAIN COLLEGE FOR WOMEN is founded by Shree Maharveer Jain Kalyan Sangh (established in 1967) a Voluntary Charitable Jain association. The college is named after the great Jain Saint Yogiraj Guru Sree Santivijai Maharaj of Mount Abu (India) to make the memory of the birth Centenary Celebration. This is a Self Financing college that is established and administered as a Religious and Linguistic Minority Institution and it is approved by the State Government and Affiliated with the University of Madras. Regular Day College was started in the academic year 1995-96.
