The Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering [GVPCE] had its humble beginning in December 1996 with 4 branches and 200 intakes established under the parent society ‘Gayatri Vidya Parishad’(GVP), a non-profitable organization comprising noted educationists and eminent philanthropists who have a missionary zeal to provide quality technical education.  From that point on, the college very quickly established itself as one of the most preferred self-funded engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh offering 10 B.Tech. Programs, 9 M.Tech.and an AICTE-approved MCA program with an intake of 1362.

Residential Accommodation

The hostel is on campus. 32 living rooms can accommodate 5 students in each bedroom, equipped with a desk, chair and wardrobe. There are sufficient toilets, bathrooms and sinks with running water. There are two dining rooms and a modern kitchen. There is a beautiful chapel also in campus to meet the spiritual needs of the inmates

The Library

The library was established in 1996 and named  Prof. B.Sarveswara Rao Library in 2005 as a sign of respect for former President Gayatri Vidya Parishad, great economist, former Vice-Chancellor of Nagarjuna University, AU Professor Emeritus of Economics and Economic Advisor to the Government of Nigeria. The library is well equipped with modern facilities and resources in the form of CD/DVD ROMs and videotapes. Online database, micro documents, videotapes, books, journal theses, project reports, journal backlog, and NPTEL video lessons. The library used an integrated library management software package (LIBSYS) with all modules for the automated operation of the library and the barcode system.

Computer Lab

The requirement of the day is computer Education. Our computer lab has 49 systems and provides knowledge and experience to our students all the time. The lab is open even after college hours providing opportunities for interested learners to practice and become masters in computer operations. Students utilise the Internet facility to download and prepare for their teaching practicals and use the Net for Powerpoint preparation.

Canteen 

This place is very convenient for all students to relax a bit. Here are available not only tasty snacks but also stationery and other personal things.

Games and Gymnasium

The Physical Education department is very strong in our college and it has a qualified well experienced faculty a Post-Graduate from L.N.I.P.E., (Deemed Univ. ) Gwalior, a visiting Professor who was a former principal of Govt. Physical Education College and three markers.

The college has indoor facilities with Table Tennis, Caroms, Chess, 12 stations multi gym and 4 stations gym. Yoga is being imparted to students as a Distresses.
