GZS Campus College of Engineering & Technology, MRSPT University, Bathinda is the first institute in Punjab established by the state government in the year 1989 when the hon’ble Governor of Punjab Sh. S.S. Ray laid the foundation stone on 23rd October 1989. Initially set up as Government Engineering College, it was converted into an autonomous institute in the year 1992, and a “Board of Governors” (BOG) was constituted to manage the affairs of the College.

GZS Campus College of Engineering and Technology, Bathinda is the first Punjab college established by the state government in 1989 when the Hon. Governor of Punjab Sh. This college was founded in 2011 at Punjab Polytechnic Campus.

Gym and Sports:

Transportation:

The Department of Transportation has two 52-passenger buses for student transportation from Bathinda City. These buses are used for educational and industrial trips. The college has two company cars that are used by the director, professors, and staff for official work. The GZSCCET library was founded in 1989. The library has a book collection of more than 54,166 volumes of literature and textbooks on engineering and related subjects. The library's incredibly extensive collection includes electronic resources, textbooks, BIS codes, VCDs, encyclopedias, catalogs, yearbooks, biographical sources, and general books, including novels. The library also subscribes to more than 65 professional journals, journals, and full-text online databases such as IEEE, Elsevier (Science Direct), ASCE, ASME, and Pearson E-Books. She has been a member of DELNET since 2007. The electronic library has 23 access systems for electronic journals, e-books, CDs/DVDs, etc.

The Library & Information Center offers its students and faculty uncompromised information and intellectual needs with a user-friendly approach. It provides a fully integrated and dynamic environment for conducting academic studies. Multiple copies ensure that the assets are also available in the information service and in the warehouse at all times. The library has an independent reading room. The magazine area is in a separate room with books, mainly from the fields of architecture and textiles, as well as print magazines, newspapers, and popular magazines.
