Admission 2023-24 - Heera College Of Engineering And Technology (HCET) Nedumangad, Trivandrum

B-Tech Admissions 2022-23

Registration is open to eligible candidates for B-Tech admissions in the academic year 2022-23.

Qualification and admission criteria will be based on the norms of the Govt. of Kerala and the

APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (Kerala Technological University).

Eligibility:

Candidates must be citizens of India

For Govt Quota

Candidates should qualify for the Engineering Entrance Exam, KEAM, conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Exams, Govt. of Kerala. Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subjects with at least 45% marks put together in the above subjects are eligible for admission. For candidates belonging to SC/ST/ SEBC and the candidates included in the PwD quota list published by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, the minimum marks required for admission shall be 5% less than that prescribed for the general category.

For Management Quota

Candidates should qualify in the Engineering Entrance Exam, KEAM, conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Exams, Govt. of Kerala or JEE. Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subjects with at least 45% marks put together in the above subjects are eligible for admission.

For NRI Quota

Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subjects with at least 45% marks put together in the above subjects are eligible for admission. No need to qualify for the entrance examination(KEAM/JEE).

Rounding off the percentage of marks to the nearest whole number is not permitted.

Age

Applicants should have completed 17 years of age on 31st December 2023. No relaxation of age will be allowed.

HOW TO APPLY

Candidates need to apply online on the college website www.hcet.in. A list of documents needed for online registration is available on the website. Candidates have to pay an amount with an online acknowledgment receipt and submit the relevant original documents to the college at the time of admission.
