There are separate hostels for boys and girls in the HCET campus with excellent infrastructural facilities for the relaxed and comfortable stay of the inmates.
• Separate wardens are entrusted with the duties of controlling the hostels for boys and girls. Two rooms are allotted exclusively for faculty members.
• Special coaching classes are conducted after regular class hours for the slow learners among hostel inmates.

• There are separate dining halls for vegetarian and non-vegetarian inmates.

The IEDC of HCET is the college's nodal body, fully funded by the Government of Kerala and under the strong mentorship of the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM). The main goals of IEDC are to carry out various programs devised by the Kerala government to promote entrepreneurship, such as organizing awareness camps, entrepreneurship development programs, faculty development programs, industrial visits, and so on. It also focuses on guiding and assisting aspiring student entrepreneurs in making their dreams a reality.
