Himalayan Institute of Pharmacy & Research (HIPR), established in the year 2006 under the auspices of Azad Educational Society, is situated in a peaceful lush green environment at Rajawala Selaqui, Dehradun Uttarakhand. Himalayan Institute of Pharmacy and Research indicates the fast pace and increasing demand for Pharmacy and Management graduates in the Industry, Marketing, Teaching, and Research. Every year, we have been improving our facilities and introducing new courses.

Hostel:

Campus residential facilities are available for students, faculty, and staff. Each hostel has facilities like a daily newspaper, telephone, common room with television sets, etc.

Guest House:

The University maintains air-conditioned rooms in the Guest House with ultra-comfortable boarding and lodging facilities. The facilities are provided to parents/visitors at a nominal cost.

Library:

SRHU’s library services are one of the best among the private universities in India and are provided through four faculty library centers which are located at the Medical Institute, Management School, School of Engineering and Technology, and Nursing College.

The Central Library of the University, approximately 2400 square meters in area and with a total seating capacity of 425, was established in 1992 to support Medical, Paramedical, and Nursing courses. It has now completed 25 years with its monograph collection of more than 17,000, foreign journals (mostly e-journals) which number more than thousand and 119 Indian Journals. It has a rich collection of over 5400 back volumes of journals.

Placement Cell

To explore new placement opportunities, the T&P team undertakes regular tours to major cities in the country. Regular workshops & training sessions for the benefit of the faculty members are organized. AICTE / MHRD, Govt. of India sponsored summer/winter schools & communication enhancement workshops are part of such efforts. The working of the cell is automated and the records of the students regarding their academic status, training, seminars, projects & placements are readily available.
The Placement and Training Centre plays an active role in connecting with the most senior professionals and industries by inviting them to campus to bridge the Industry- Academia gap.
