Dr. Vithalrao Vikhe Patil (Padmashri awardee) was a man of vision who recognized the poor state of farming and the indebtedness of farmers. This persuaded him to uplift the farmers through the establishment of a cooperative sugar factory at Loni, a first of its kind in Asia. Educating the masses is the only solution to uplift them with this thought in mind he started Pravara Rural Education Society, Pravaranagar in 1964.

The best way to keep the limbs fit is to exercise them in sports and games of physical skill and strength. Sports and games are very important to us. They keep us healthy and fit. They offer us a change from the monotony of daily life. It is a useful means of entertainment and physical activity. Sports and games improve our capability. This is not only important for success in the studio but it is important for success in every walk of our life.

There are three canteens situated on the campus along with the Juice bar center which serves snacks, beverages, breakfast, and lunch with a variety of items that suit the needs of students belonging to different geographical locations of the Country. Frequent random checks are carried out to ensure that the food served by the canteen is hygienic, tests good, and is made from good quality ingredients. Spacious building of the canteen with good modern furniture and the pleasant weather of Ahmednagar combined together to make it a place where students eat together and indulge in healthy interactions.
