About ICOER Pune

JSPM's Imperial College of Engineering & Research (ICOER) is one of the competent engineering colleges, established in 2006-07, and is situated on a picturesque heart-throbbing landscape at Wagholi on Nagar –Pune Road.

The institute offers Under Graduate courses in Computer Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication, Mechanical Engineering & Civil Engineering, and Post Graduate course in Engineering & Management. The core strength of this institute is highly qualified, dedicated & experienced faculty, well-equipped laboratories, 100 Mbps high-speed Internet Facility, and state-of-the-art infrastructure. Faculty members in this institute strive hard to impart quality technical knowledge to produce the technocrats of futuristic vision. The students who aspire to become engineers are groomed with the appropriate technology expected in the industries. Technical forums, student associations, and study groups are the avenues to enhance technical & soft skills. The students are oriented and counseled during the technical education through the unique concept of Guardian Faculty Member. A faculty is a GFM for a group of students (not more than 20) who listens and guides the students toward the solutions for the problems that he/she faces, through counseling.

The first unit of JSPM started in the year 2001 under the “Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering” at Tathawade, a developing suburb in the PCMC area near the software park. Through JSPM, Prof. Dr. T. J. Sawant established an educational campus at Tathawade, Hadapsar, Wagholi, Bavdhan, and Narhe in various suburbs of Pune City. Since 2014, the campus has been functioning at Barshi (A Town in Solapur District). All these campuses are having quality educational Institutes, schools, and colleges with excellent Infrastructure and Academic ambiance. Currently, JSPM has a widely spread organization with 7 Campuses, 78 Institutes, 10000 Staff, 400 Buses, and 50000 Students. Prof. Dr. T.J.Sawant is aiming to start a well-equipped state-of-art Hospital and Medical college on one of the campuses. Establishing a Private University is also an ambitious project of its Founder Secretary Prof. Dr T.J.Sawant.
