The Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology, and Applied Nutrition in Bathinda (Punjab) was established in 2008 by the Ministry of Tourism of the Punjab Government.  It is affiliated with the National Council of Hotel Management and Restaurant Technology (the highest body of the Government of India's Ministry of Tourism), Noida.
