IIIT West Bengal is a joint venture between the Government of West Bengal, Government of India (Ministry of Education), and several industry partners. The college's industrial partners have expanded to Coal India Ltd. and Rolta Foundation at present. IIIT Kalyani has been declared an Institution of National Importance (INI). IIIT Kalyani temporarily operates from Webel IT Park, Kalyani until construction is completed. Admissions to Ph.D. The program of the Institute would normally occur once in January and once in July every year. The advertisements for the even semester (January - June) are referred to as September/October and they will also be issued in February-March for the odd semester (July - December). IIIT Kalyani Cutoff

As for the current year 2025, the cut-off is not available yet. However, the IIIT Kalyani 2024 cut-off for courses have been declared for the entrance of BTech, Integrated BTech, and BArch. During the 4th round, the cutoffs provided by JoSAA extended from the 37647th to the 40447th positions.
