IIIT Kota (IIITK) is one of the youngest IIITs in the country and was founded in 2013 year under the Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) model. The institute is recognized as an institute of country-wide importance. It is a joint undertaking of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) Government of India and the state government (Rajasthan). IIIT Kota is offering UG, PG, and Ph.D. level courses in the field of Engineering and Technology. B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is the flagship course of IIIT Kota.

Residential Accommodation:

JD Institute provides excellent hostel facilities for all college students. As the institute operates under the mentorship of MNIT Jaipur, students benefit from MNIT's sprawling campus spanning over 312 acres of lush greenery. IIIT Kota students are accommodated alongside MNIT's students, ensuring equal access to facilities for all.

Library:

The Central Library, located at Prabha Bhavan, second floor, MNIT Jaipur campus, serves as a hub of academic resources for students, faculty, and staff. To ensure smooth functioning and coordination, the Library Committee and Library Advisory Committee for IT Kota have been constituted.

Labs:

The Computer Centre at MNIT Jaipur has been the centralized computing facility since 1989, providing extensive computing and networking facilities to various academic departments and sections of the institute.

Medical Facilities:

A fully-equipped Dispensary supervised by a residential Medical Officer and Compounders is available on campus. Part-time allopathic Doctors and a Lady Doctor provide medical services to students and staff members, ensuring access to healthcare facilities within the campus premises.

IIIT Kota Placements

IIIT Kota has a placement and education cell that organizes mock interviews and training sessions for the scholars to easily crack the choice method all through the placement drive. Reputed organizations from special sectors participate in the placement power every 12 months to recruit students. In the current placement power of 2021.

The highest salary package provided was INR 45 LPA, while the average package was INR 10 LPA. An overall of 98 offers have been made through participating organizations Jio, MAQ Software, Nagarro, Accolite, Q-Spider, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Flipkart, CapGemini, Indus Valley Partners, and lots more.

Currently we offer B.Tech in the discipline of Computer Science & Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering only. Currently the institute is mentored by Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur (MNIT Jaipur) and situated at MNIT Jaipur. The main site of IIIT, Kota shall be constructed at Ranpur near Kota on 100.37 acres of land made available by the Govt. of Rajasthan. The institute is governed by the eminent personalities of the Government, Industry and Academia.
