IISER Admission 2024

The institution is committed to delivering top-notch education in modern science, seamlessly integrating it with exceptional research at the undergraduate level.  Its fundamental objective is to instill a spirit of inquiry that goes beyond traditional disciplinary boundaries. IISER Thiruvananthapuram functions as an autonomous institution, providing a comprehensive five-year BS-MS program, as well as D. and Ph.D. programs in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and interdisciplinary fields. The institute is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratory facilities in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology, along with a computer laboratory featuring over 50 workstations for undergraduate students.  Additionally, a Linux cluster comprising 120 Nodes is accessible for both teaching and research purposes. Various courses are available on the MOODLE electronic learning platform. The campus benefits from a 100 Mbps internet connection through the National Knowledge Network Project, slated for an upgrade to 1 Gbps soon.

IISER PG Eligibility:

The BS-MS program spans ten semesters, and candidates must have completed their 10+2 exams from a recognized board in the science stream. Additionally, candidates are required to take the IISER Aptitude Test, with admission being determined by merit and performance in the aptitude test.
