The admission process to BS and MS-BS (Dual Degree) programs is made on the basis Common Rank List (CRL) of the Joint Entrance Exam (Advanced), Kishore Vaigyanik Pratsahan Yojana (KVPY) and the score from State and Central Boards.
Candidates who apply via the SCB channel must take the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) which is followed by an interview in order to be admitted into the BS-MS (dual degree) program.
Acceptance into the Integrated Ph.D. is done by evaluating an acceptable score in JEST (for Physics) and JAM (Mathematics and Chemistry). The admission process into the Ph.D. program will be dependent on how well the applicant did during the interview.
For admission to the Ph.D. program, National level examinations like GATE/NET/UGC-JRF /CSIR-JRF/JEST/JGEEBILS /INSPIRE-PhD /NET-LS/Rajiv Gandhi Fellowship or any other recognized score is mandatory.
