Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhopal(IISER B) is also called IISER B, also known as the Indian Institute of Science and Research is a public research institute with immense significance. It was founded in the year in 2008. The foundation stone was laid by the Human Resource Development Minister late. Shri Arjun Singh. The institute is a member of IISER (Indian Institute of Science and Education Research) which was founded by the MHRD. IISER Bhopal presently is a proud owner of the title along with six other IISERs in the nation.

Admission

Candidates who apply via the SCB channel must take the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) which is followed by an interview in order to be admitted into the an BS-MS (dual degree) program.

Scholarships

The Institute offers a variety of scholarships and fellowships for meritorious and worthy students. Below are the specifics of the program:

Students who are accepted into the institute will receive an award of INR 60,000 plus INR 20000 per year. The scholarship will be provided through INSPIRE (Innovation of Science in Pursuit to Inspire Research).

A scholarship award worth INR 1,000 per month is awarded to the top student in the 1st and the 2nd semesters of the first year.

Students accepted to the Ph.D. program will receive the benefit of a fellowship worth INR 10,000 per month.
