ILM College of Arts and Science, Methala, Perumbavoor, Ernakulam District, is a self-funded minority college affiliated with the state-accredited MG Kottayam University. of Kerala owned and operated by ILM Trust Methala, Perumbavoor. The Trust is a group of many prominent scholars, educators, and philanthropists working to advance the educational advancement of the economically and socially disadvantaged sections of society. As part of the ILM Trust's social commitment, we offer deserving students financial help in the form of scholarships and fee reductions. The Islamic Learning Mission Trust was registered under the Indian Trusts Act 1882 in 2010. The Trust aims to promote quality education in all sectors of society, enriching personal development, character formation, and social harmony. The various institutions established by the Trust are the result of the hard and genuine work of our visionaries. 

The College was founded on 08/01/2012.ILM College of Arts and Science and our sister institution ILM College of Engineering and Technology are the two educational institutions run under the strict guidance and control of the ILM Trust, Methala. Both institutions are situated in Techno Village, Methala, under Rayamangalam Grama Panchayath, on a hilltop, in a beautiful panorama of nature, six kilometers away from the hometown, Perumbavoor. The unique and ideal atmosphere prevailing on the campus is created by the strong blend of dedicated management, faculty, and supporting staff.

ILM College of Arts and Science is affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and the Government of Kerala. Accreditations by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

Supply Chain Management, (B.Com) Computer Applications, Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Physics, Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Forensic Sciences, and Postgraduate Programs Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Psychology, (M.Com) Finance and Taxation.

Library and Reading Room: 

The college has a centralized library with a full-time librarian and supporting staff. The library is open to the use of students on all working days from 9. 30:00 to 15:30 The library includes a bibliographic department, a periodical department, and a reading room. The Library Advisory Board oversees the work of the library. 

Canteen: 

There is a cafeteria on campus. Lunch and other snacks are available in the Mensa and Mensa. 

Women’s Cell: 

As a co-ed university, this cell pays special attention to students and listens to their problems. The cell's goal is to positively address gender issues on campus by taking confidence-building measures to help female students maintain their status on an equal footing with male students. 

Placement Cell: 

The placement Unit plays a key role in locating undergraduate and postgraduate employment opportunities by staying connected with reputable companies and industries. The integration unit works throughout the year to facilitate contact between companies and graduates.
