Classrooms

Food production labs/ training kitchens

The institute has food production training labs consisting of a basic training kitchen, an advanced training kitchen, and a bakery & confectionary which is at par with the industry standards. Our food production labs are well equipped with all and necessary modern amenities and culinary equipment that allow the students to get personalized & single attention and practical learning. Like a real kitchen of a restaurant or a hotel, it is equipped with a cooking range, culinary & cutlery items, and a personal workstation for every student along with first-aid and other safety equipment.

Training restaurant

IMB School of Hospitality has a well-equipped air-conditioned multi-cuisine restaurant for practical training of basic and advanced skills in F&B Service besides students are trained on the servicing aspects of ‘welcoming’, ‘waiting for seating’, ‘complaint handling & resolution’, and other allied mannerisms and attributes in a modular restaurant with numerous role-playing which enables the students to grasp the real meaning of guest satisfaction.

Training bar

There is a fully equipped mock bar available for demonstrations and practical work, in the preparation and service of all kinds of beverages like cocktails & mocktails, liquor & liqueurs, wines & champagne, etc. The fully equipped bar at the institute allows the students to get hands-on experience working at a bar and learn speed bartending techniques. The separate flair training area is lined with rubber mats on the floor to allow students to practice flair unhindered and continuously.

Front office training lab

The college has a well-equipped industry-standard front office lab. All operational aspects of the front office like room reservation, check-in/check-out, guest relations, telephone handling, cashiering, guest accounting, revenue management, etc. are taught to the students. The students are trained on the aspects of welcoming and greeting the guests, handling guest complaints, telephonic etiquette, etc. through numerous role-play situations.

Housekeeping training lab

IMB School of Hospitality has a housekeeping lab with manual and mechanical cleaning equipment, tools, and chemicals, well-equipped laundry, linen room, and standard bedroom, where students are taught about the basics of hotel bed making, trolley set up, layout planning, linen management, uniform design, gardening, and flower arrangement, as well as several other practical aspects of housekeeping. Students are imparted a hands-on experience on handling the house-keeping tools very effectively.

Computer lab

A full network computer lab is operational and available to the students with an internet facility. We provide students a hands-on training on guest check-in/check-out, hotel reservation, inventory management, accounts management, and administration management modules.

Library

IMB School Of Hospitality library is equipped with the latest and best collection of test books, reference books, magazines, and journals. The internet facility with an air-conditioned reading room is also available to the student.

Conference hall

A state-of-the-art fully air-conditioned conference hall of 150 intake capacity equipped with network connectivity, and the latest audio-visual aids to host events such as competitions, functions, campus interviews, seminars, and quizzes.

Accommodation/hostel

The institute offers a hostel facility for outstation students, located within the campus. There are separate hostel accommodations for girls and boys with all amenities and security arrangements and each room can accommodate three students. The hostels have excellent facilities for students with round-the-clock availability of all the basic amenities. Each hostel is managed by a dedicated warden who takes care of the students residing in the hostel.

Sports

The IMB School Of Hospitality sports with enthusiasm and aims at developing an all-round personality through sports and games, which results in the intellectual, moral, and physical development of the students. The college possesses indoor facilities for playing caroms, and chess and outdoor facilities for performing volleyball, basketball, cricket, badminton, etc.
