IMDR a leading Management Institute in Pune was established in 1974 as a constituent unit of the Deccan Education Society. It took over the MBA program of the MBA Center of the University of Pune and the DBM program, run in the BMCC (a sister institution) since 1968. The Center is primarily a learning facility and has resource rooms for conducting hands-on training and presentations. It has 100 computers with a minimum Core I3 configuration for students. The Center has state-of-the-art hardware and software to meet the needs of students of Management. Training for commonly used software packages and databases is organized]for staff and students. There is a separate Language Lab for language training for a capacity of 30 students. Students are given hands-on training on ERP systems under the SAP University Alliance Programme. A separate portal for the Alumni is maintained to address the needs of the Alumni and encourage their participation in the development of the Institute. The office, the faculty rooms, the library, and the computer center are networked. The lab has a 200 MBPS leased line connection for Internet access. Internet access is available to the students via LAN and Wi-Fi connection on campus for 10 hours a day.
The Computer Center at IMDR is responsible for all IT services on campus. It is primarily a learning facility and has a resource room for conducting hands-on training and presentations. Students are given hands-on training in Advanced Excel, Digital marketing, Business Analytics, and ERP systems under the SAP University Alliance Programme.
Sports Facilities:
On the occasion of National Sports Day, students of the Sports Committee in IMDR arranged various friendly sports events containing table tennis, Carom, throw the ball, Badminton, and relay from 4 pm.
