Halls of Residence  Facilities 

Indian Institute Of Engineering Science And Technology, with a student population of more than 3200, has 17 hostels including two girls' hostels for UG students and one girls' hostel for PG and Research Scholars. There are nine multi-seated hostels for boys: A. C. Roy Hall (Hostel 7), D. Banerjee Hall (Hostel 8), A. K. Seal Hall (Hostel 9), Hostel 10, Hostel 11, Hostel 13 (exclusively for PG and Research Scholars), Hostel 14, Hostel 15, Hostel 16. There are 5 single-seated halls for boys: Richardson Hall, Macdonald Hall, Sen Hall, Sengupta Hall, and Wolfenden Hall.

Cafe Coffee Facilities 

Indian Institute Of Engineering Science And Technology Premium Coffee brand of India and a subsidiary of Coffee Day Enterprises Limited. Since it is for the students the pricing is less. It is situated near the Netaji Auditorium. It accepts each Cash and Paytm payment. Apart from Coffee, they have sandwiches, munchies, hunger zappers, etc on their menu card.

Guest House Canteen Facilities 

Indian Institute Of Engineering Science And Technology Guest House Canteen is on the ground floor of the Guest House. All styles of meals like Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and so on are served here. Both Veg and Non-Veg food is served here. This canteen is specifically for the Guests inside the Guest house.

Central Library Facilities 

Indian Institute Of Engineering Science And Technology Library was started in April 1857 with a capital expenditure of Rs.5,000/-. The Institute library has the distinction of being one of the oldest and the largest resourceful technical libraries in Southeast Asia. The total area of the library is around 3,000 square meters and it is open from 9.00 A.M. to 12.00 A.M. The library not only caters to the basic information needs of faculty members, research scholars and students of this Institute but also provides information services to research workers of neighboring universities and research institutes. 

Computer Center Facilities 

The Centre had its modest beginning in 1976 on the premises of the Electrical Engineering Department with a TDC-316 machine operated through punched cards. In 1992, the center became a separate central computing facility, complete with servers and networked computers, on two floors of block III of the main administrative building. Presently the Computer Centre has been temporarily located on the second floor of A. K. Seal Hall for a short period.
