Indian Institute of Public Health (IIPH), Gandhi Nagar is the country's first Public Health University. It has a history of ensuring 100% student placement. The Institute was founded on an MOU between the Government of Gujarat and the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI). The Indian Institute of Public Health Gandhinagar (IIPHG) is dedicated to creating a healthier India.

The foundations of IIHG were established by Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi. IIPHG is recognized as a university under the IIPHG Act of 2015 by the Government of Gujarat and as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Government of India. Admission procedure:

Candidates are able to register for the IIPHG admission in an online mode only. Admission to courses is based on merit, or the score achieved during the Institute's entrance test.
