Indian Institute of Public Health (IIPH), Gandhi Nagar is the country's first Public Health University. It has a history of ensuring 100% student placement. The Institute was founded on an MOU between the Government of Gujarat and the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI). The Indian Institute of Public Health Gandhinagar (IIPHG) is dedicated to creating a healthier India.
The foundations of IIHG were established by Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi. IIPHG is recognized as a university under the IIPHG Act of 2015 by the Government of Gujarat and as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Government of India. IIPHG is recognized as a society as per the Societies Act.

IIPHG, Gujarat has 17 full-time faculty members, who come from medical and public health backgrounds, as well as management and social science backgrounds. They all are educated at respected Indian and Foreign universities. Furthermore, a variety of adjunct or visiting faculty from India and around the world also helps to support the IIPHG teaching programmes.
IIPHG, Gujarat offers PG and Diploma Courses within the discipline of Public Health. (Master of Public Health (MPH), Master of Hospital Administration (MHA), Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health Management (PGDPHM), Associate Fellow of Industrial Health (AFIH), and so on.)
It also houses a teaching lab for students to be trained in the field of environmental health and microbiology.

The campus residence complex is for girls and boys with all modern facilities for an unforgettable campus experience. Hostel rooms are for single occupancy, with a bathroom attached and laundry facilities, a balcony and a lounge for students with a music room with snooker tables and art room, as well as common areas and sports courts.
Both indoor, as well as outdoor sports, are my favourite activities. Numerous activities such as plantation program and blood donation camps, workshops, NSS, NCC, student Union elections, annual celebrations as well as sports and games are organized by the institute. The campus life is full of entertainment and enjoyment, along with great faculty and staff members who are supportive in the classroom. work hard and with full focus. A proper indoor game facility is also on campus. In the evening, most students love to play badminton or just relax. Our whole campus is WiFi is enabled.
Candidates are able to register for the IIPHG admission in an online mode only. Admission to courses is based on merit, or the score achieved during the Institute's entrance test. The eligibility for admission to courses provided by this Institute together with their entrance examinations for qualifying courses in PG PHFI/ UGC-NETor CSIR-NET scores. must be scored and is required to pass the PhD. The scholarship facilities are offered by our college. Because we are a govt-run college, all scholarships are given by the government. However, for students who have good outcomes in their academic progress, their teachers will provide them with a good amount of scholarships. Students in the reserved category received scholarships for caste from the government. International and national players were awarded scholarships by the government.
IIPH Gandhinagar provides an on-campus recruitment facility for students. The institute offers 100 per cent placement. The recruiters from IIPH include World Health Organization, UNICEF, Zydus Hospital, Apollo Hospital, Access Health International, Reliance Foundation, HCL Foundation, CARE, Sewa, Jhpiego, Asian Bariatrics and many more.
IIPHG has 17 full-time faculty members with medical, public health, management, and social science backgrounds. All of them have advanced qualifications from reputed Indian and foreign universities. Additionally, a number of visiting/adjunct faculty from India and abroad also contribute to the IIPHG teaching programmes.
