The Statistical Quality Control and Operations Research (SQC & OR) Division of the Indian Statistical Institute has been the pioneer in the application of Statistics in solving industrial problems. The Division through its various units located across India has been helping the industries to improve their processes. Scientists of the Division are carrying out research in areas like Quality Management, Reliability and its related fields, Operations Research, and Statistical Quality Control.
