The Indian National Portage Association (INPA), based in Chandigarh, India, is a non-profit, professional, educational, non-governmental, and voluntary organization founded 39 years ago by Prof. Tehal Kohli.  INPA has served more than 40,000 beneficiaries to date.

It is a branch of the International Portage Association, USA. (IPA is a focused group of professionals, parents, and individuals interested in research, services, and policies related to children with disabilities or at-risk children and their families. IPA operates in over 130 countries worldwide.
