Established in the Year 1956, Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya “IKSV” is situated in the Khairagarh township of Chhattisgarh State of India.
Indira Kala Snihwavidyalaya was established in 1956 in Khairagarh, Chhattisgarh State of India. It is a university that offers higher education in dance, music and theatre. IKSV is, in fact, a sanctuary for musicians. The institution is also the first Asian musical University.
Indira Kala Vishwavidyalaya [IKSV], Khairagarh has been approved by the University Grants Commission, Association of Indian Universities and (AIU), and is accredited with an 'A' certificate of NAAC.
Bachelor's Program: Indira Kala Sneet Vishwavidyalaya has three programs for undergraduate students. These courses include BPA (Music/Dance/Folk Music), BFA (Music/Dance/Folk Music), and B. Voc. To be eligible for the Bachelor's degree, students must pass an aptitude test. The Entrance Test generally has questions about the relevant subjects.
Master's Courses: IKSV offers 20 postgraduate programs. Candidates must take the aptitude exam. The administration will release an admissions list based on student performance. The upper limit must be met by the candidate.

Rajkumari Ushadevi Singh Library
IKSV boasts a multilingual library. It houses a rich collection including more than 45000 books and 2445 back volumes of research journal journals. There are also 430 thesis and 45 current journals. A special section is available for users with visual impairments. DELNET is the library's membership. Students can also access full-text journals in different fields from international journals. All faculty members and researchers have access to Content Page Service via e-mail.
Computer Centre
The National Knowledge Network (NKN Project) provides internet connectivity at 100-Mbps. Moreover, Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya organizes short-term computer awareness/literacy programs.
Museum
The foundation for the museum was laid by the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh on 14 December 2016. The new museum is associated with the Department of Ancient Indian History Culture & Archaeology. The museum's stopover is also the Mini Classical & Folk Musical Instrument Gallery.
Yoga Centre
IKSV opened a yoga centre to increase awareness of yoga. The yoga center offers students a path to self-discovery. The center also offers Yoga training. Students and staff lead an active and healthy lifestyle.
Auditorium
Indira Kala Sneet Vishwavidyalaya currently has three indoor auditoriums. The college recently built a new auditorium on Campus II. It can hold 600 people. The Durbar Hall is the second campus. They can accommodate 100 and 150 people, respectively.
Entertainment Hall
The entertainment hall is a place where students can play indoor games such as Chess, Carom, and Table Tennis. It is also a popular spot for students who take a break from studying here.
Applicants who are interested in a UG or PG degree must pass the Aptitude Test administered by the university.

You must have 10+2 or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board to be eligible for UG courses.
A Bachelor's degree in any discipline is required to apply for PG programs. It must have at least 45% aggregate marks and 50% marks in each subject.
Candidates who have attained minimum 55% in the subject area at PG level are eligible for M.Phil admissions.
You can apply for a Ph.D. in Music/M. Dance/MFA/MA (Music/Dance/Fine Arts/ Hindi/English/ Sanskrit/Theatre/Folk Music/Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology) or any other equivalent qualification with minimum 55% marks.
Final selection will be made based on the candidate's performance at interview and entrance exam.
A scholar is eligible to receive the D.Litt. degree. Only if she/he has a Ph.D. of at least five years duration.
Only the university must approve the research subject for admission to D.Litt.
