Indo Swiss Training Centre was established in the year 1963 in collaboration with the Swiss Foundation for Technical Assistance, Switzerland, and inaugurated on 18th December 1963 by the late Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India. The Indo-Swiss Training Centre offers the latest infrastructure. Hostels, Labs, Classrooms and the Canteen have all been upgraded to offer the latest and the best.
Residential Accommodations:Our well-equipped boys' hostels allow out-of-town students to concentrate on their education. There are also recreational facilities for their relaxation.
Classrooms:Well-lit, airy classrooms with all modern amenities are used for teaching theory at ISTC.
Conference Room:A well-designed and maintained conference room is used for interactive sessions with students.

Library:Tucked away in a corner of the building is a well-lit, bright library offering books, periodicals and a quiet place to work in.
Auditorium:The amphitheatre-style ISTC auditorium is well used for discussions, lectures and events like mentoring etc.

Cafe/Mess Facility:A well-maintained cafeteria offers students nutritious hot meals, snacks and beverages throughout the day, including holidays.
Selection is based on merit in the ISTC Entrance Test conducted at Chandigarh.
