Indraprastha College For Women: UG Selection Process

Selection to UG courses is based on the CUET examinations conducted by the university followed by e-counselling rounds. Those candidates who qualify in their CUET examinations will be required to enroll for e-counseling. Candidates will then be able to choose which college they wish to attend through the two rounds of e-counseling. 

Furthermore, CUET examinations are divided into three sections:
Section 1 Languages: this further contains two sections, ‘A’ and ‘B’. Section ‘A’ contains 13 languages such as Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, etc. Section ‘B’ contains 20 languages such as French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, etc. For admission candidates must at least appear in one language. 
Section 2 Domain Specific: There are 27 domain-specific subjects in this section. Candidates are required to refer to the program-specific eligibility criteria to select domain-specific subjects. 

Section 3 General Test: General test for any UG program offered by the university where the general test is being used for admission. Candidates must refer to the program-specific eligibility criteria for selecting general tests. 

UG Application Process: Candidates must register themselves by visiting the official website of NTA. To register for the e-counseling process students are required to register the on DU admission portal. The following steps will help to apply for Indraprastha College for Women UG courses: 

  1. Applicants must visit the official website @cuet. 
  2. After opening the website there will be a 'Register' link & click on that.
  3. Read the given information & hit the 'Proceed' button. 
  4. Fill in all the academic & personal details carefully. 
  5. After filling up all the required details submit requisite scanned documents such as a photograph, signature, class X marketeer & category certificate (if applicable).

Indraprastha College For Women: PG Selection Process:

  1. Admission is granted based on merit and valid CUET PG scores. 
  2. As per DU guidelines, students who have completed their Graduation from any of the DU-affiliated colleges and are seeking PG admission in the relevant field can opt for merit-based admission. 
  3. Candidates Graduating from different universities or with a Bachelor’s degree in different subjects must qualify for the DU conducted entrance exam (CUET PG).
  4. Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Admission Process 2024
  5. Delhi University has introduced the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for admission to UG courses for all its affiliated colleges. The entire process is explained below:
Phase 1: CSAS Application Form
Aspirants are required to fill out the CSAS application form on the centralized admission portal by paying a one-time non-refundable application fee.
ECA and sports quota candidates will have to pay an additional fee.
Phase 2: Selection of Courses and College Preferences
The second phase will start after the results of the CUET examination are declared.
After the CUET Result declaration, eligible candidates will have to select the courses and fill in the preference of desired colleges on the centralized CSAS portal.
Phase 3: Seat Allocation and Final Admission
The merit list will be declared based on CUET scores.

Multiple rounds of seat allotment will be conducted. 

Candidates will have to check if they have been allotted a seat on the CSAS dashboard. If allotted, candidates must accept their seat on or before the given date for that particular round.
Seat allocation will be based on multiple factors such as - a combination of college and program chosen, position of the candidate on the merit list, category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR) of the candidate, and availability of seats.
Upon acceptance of a seat, the university will check eligibility, verify documents, and confirm admission after receiving the payment of a fee.

  7. Candidates need to pay the application fee at the time of submitting the form or else the Online Application Form will not be considered.
  8. After submitting the fee, candidates print out the form and save a hard copy for future reference.
