ISID, New Delhi Facilities and Infrastructure

The Campus:

ISID occupies an iconic campus located in the serene surroundings of the Aravalli Biodiversity Park in the Vasant Kunj Institutional Area. Besides faculty and staff offices, the campus is equipped with a top-of-the-range convention center and recreation facilities. The campus is easily accessible by road, metro, and rail.

Convention Centre:

ISID Convention Centre comprises a number of well-equipped conference halls, an auditorium, a multipurpose convention hall, a guest house, and a cafeteria. With a seating capacity for nearly 200 participants, the ISID Auditorium is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. The facilities are available in the auditorium such as online streaming and recording, wireless controls, and state-of-the-art acoustic, projection, and lighting systems.

Accommodation:

The ISID Guest House comprises 28 fully air-conditioned guest rooms equipped with internet connectivity, cable TV, and a refrigerator. The guest house is primarily used by the official guests, staff, and participants of various academic activities undertaken by ISID and selectively by other members of the academic community.

Library:

The Institute’s library serves as the resource center in the field of industrial development and is a gateway to national and global knowledge providing fair access to knowledge and information to as many users as possible. It is an integral part of the institution providing efficient and timely support to the institute’s faculties, researchers, and scholars, as well as to policymakers, administrators, and students from all over the country. Over the years, the library has functioned as a target-oriented library on literature related to issues such as industrial and developmental economics, foreign investment, international trade, the corporate sector, labor, employment, and related subjects. It has an impressive, mixed collection of both print and electronic resources including books, journals, technical reports, thesis, and other material. Reports of official committees, policy notifications, and other public documents are regularly obtained.
