The Financial Aid and Merit Scholarship Scheme are the scholarships offered to students by the college. Students can also take advantage of Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojna, which is offered through the Gujarat government. Candidates who are interested in Institute of Advanced Research scholarships must meet the eligibility requirements. Then, they receive the amount of their scholarship. Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yajna The scheme requires that applicants must have a minimum of 80percent marks in their 10+2.

In order to be accepted into the course students must pass through the university screening procedure. Institute of Advanced Research accepts scores from the GUJCET test for B.Tech GAT-B, GAT-B to be used for M.Sc. Biotechnology CMAT to be used for M.B.A and GATE to be used for M.Tech admission to the program.
The university has books and journals from relevant and complementary areas of courses of study offered. Computer and internet facilities are also available in the library. Photocopying, Printing and Scanning facilities are available in the library. student guidance cell has been created to assist students in day-to-day activities.
