Institute of Information Technology and Management, Cuttack, IMIT Cuttack is the state agency of the State Government and the first Institute of Information Technology and Management established in 1962 by the Government of Odisha. It is located in the city of Cuttack in the eastern part of the state of Odisha, India. And it has positioned itself as a leading institution offering various professional and technical educations that prepare students to meet the expectations of modern industry. 

The college offers postgraduate and research programs in computer science and business administration. The college campus is located at Gourav Palace, Matha Sahi, Tulsipur, Cuttack on the banks of the Mahanadi River. As the twin of the state capital of Bhubaneswar, the cyber heart of Odisha, it has many advantages. The proximity to many large industries, central and public companies, and technical institutions offers students opportunities for project work, practical training, and research. By strengthening human resource development efforts in the country, the college places more emphasis on the qualitative sense of education, not just the quantitative sense.

A separate reading room is also available to students, where they can access national newspapers and current magazines from the fields of technology, the digital world, education, and general education. 

Hostels: 

Institute of Management and Information Technology, is one of the leading institutes in Odisha. It offers accommodation for female students in a dormitory on the college campus. The IMIT women's shelter was founded in 2014. Oversight of the Home is exercised by the Curator and Deputy Curator and coordinated by the Director. There are two floors, the ground floor has 11 rooms and the first floor has 12 rooms. The hostel is a three-story building. There are currently only limited places available for potential new students in the group. Admission is based solely on applicants' OJEE scores and living distance from the facility.
