Institute of Para Medical Technology (IPMT) is one of the most reputed and highly successful but not for profit training institute offering full time courses in paramedical and allied health sciences in India. It was established in 1994 in an area which was lacking behind in education and also community health services for a common man. Department of Anatomy and Physiology Laboratory with various native and fiber models and diagrams. Mannequins (male and female) to demonstrate various procedures using a mannequin (Maniquin). 

Department of Pathology, Biochemistry, and Histotechnology Latest roof and well lit fully AC and fully equipped semi automatic analyzer with adequate microscopes for biochemical tests Equipped with proper LPG power supply. The department has projection microscopes attached to screens for student demonstrations. The department  also has microscope slides projected on television screens so that normal and abnormal findings in samples can be seen live. Ophthalmology Laboratory attached to the  Department of Ophthalmology, fully equipped with YAG-Laser, Appascan A (Biometry) and Scan-B, Retinoscope, Ophthalmoscope, Bridge Lamp and Keratometer, Schiotz and Apalanation Tonometer, Autofractometer, Perimeter, Inami Head Dissecting Microscope and Emulsi . Pha target where successfully intraocular lens implantation, circumcision operations and Chalazion removal are performed. It has an eye lab attached to it. for  grinding, fitting, cutting and framing lenses, including eye testing. Cataract surgery uses the latest technology (SICS - Small Incision Cataract Surgery). 

The dental laboratory is connected to the dental center

The department is fully equipped with cervical and lumbar traction units, shoulder and leg exercises, short wave diathermy, wax bath set, heat packs, shoulder wheel, muscle stimulator, TENS, treadmill, quad plank, elbow machine, wheel exercises and ultrasound etc. It has various heat packs for the relief of ortho and joint patients. 

Department of Radiodiagnosis - 

Fully equipped digital Agfa CR system with the latest updated Allengers x-ray model  and dental x-ray unit with separate digital control and fully equipped dark room. 

Department of Ultrasound - 

Fully equipped with the latest GE machine with electronic sensors. ECG center equipped with BPL machines  [ Cardiart 108T and 408]. 

The Department of Homeopathy is fully functional and provides complete health care to  patients through the distribution of homeopathic medicines. 

Operating Room - 

The operating room fully equipped with the latest motorized operating room and Boyle apparatus (anesthesia machine) including operating microscopes for microsurgery where intraocular lenses are implanted for cataract surgery. A Phaco Emulsifier was also added to upgrade the system to provide ultra-modern surgery at an affordable cost to the poor sectors of society, enabling us to perform more eye surgeries more efficiently.

Transportation 

The institute is acquiring latest CNG equipped van for convenient transportation of  students and staff to study and  nearby metro stations (Qutab Minar and Chatterpur). The van is also used in medical camps.
