The Choudwar Institute of Textile Technology was established by the government. of Odisha in 1983 and offered only graduate courses in Textile Technology. to meet the growing need for technical manpower in the country and in the country. With the advent of technological development and the demand for high-quality technical workers in other fields, the government. von Odisha had the pleasure of completing a 3-year Diploma with E.TC Ing. & Meccanico Ing. 2007. Also in 2009 another course in mechatronics, Ing. h.c.it was introduced for the first time (in Orissa) in the same institute. The Choudwar Institute of Textile Technology is the only single-purpose institution offering education in Textile Technology. The institute is located in the heart of the oldest industrial city of Odisha, “Choudwar”, 15 km from the silver town of Cuttack and 35 km from the temple town of Bhubaneswar (the capital of Odisha).

Courses Offered:

Institute of Textile Technology Courses are offered by Undergraduate Programs Diploma in Mechatronics, Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Diploma in Textile Design.

Hostel: 

Hostels are available at the institute for boys and girls from the first semester onwards. Students wishing to stay at the hostel are required to pay a hostel entrance fee of Rs 3,000 (three thousand rupees) per year, which is subject to change from time to time in accordance with government orders. 

Placement: 

In order to bridge the gap between academic programs and industry and broaden students' horizons, we offer industrial training for students in reputable organizations students also prepare seminar presentations that help them discover and disseminate technological innovations and improve their communication skills. Lecturers are organized by industry and academia in seminars and workshops held from time to time for the benefit of the students. The college also compels students to create projects to implement, sustain, maintain, or develop their goals and objectives, which helps them learn technology and its applications, and clarify concepts to help them become independent in their skills and work make. Considering the need to develop a personality that fulfills the need for survival and creative productivity in society, we opened a communication workshop in cooperation with IIT, Kharagpur.
