IPS College of Technology and Management was established in the year 2007, aiming to become the most preferred engineering college in central India for students to obtain a world-class engineering education, and develop into the leaders of tomorrow. IPSCTM endeavours to make the students technologically superior and ethically strong, who in turn, shall contribute to the advancement of society and humankind. The committed faculty advances the boundaries of knowledge through interdisciplinary research. Facilities and Infrastructure

HOSTELS

A three-storied centrally air-cooled building with a capacity of 180 beds, equipped with a modular kitchen, recreation room, wi-fi promises, round-the-clock security, power backup and continuous water supply is located on the campus. The hostel provides the students with a home away from home with facilities like hot showers, cold and safe drinking water, and other essential services. Each room is provided with beds, tables, chairs and cupboard
A secure, comfortable building in the heart of the city opposite RKVM, University Road, serves as a girls' hostel with spacious and centrally air-cooled rooms, safe drinking water, wi-fi premises, round-the-clock security and a power back-up system.

LIBRARY

Our library is fully computerized and accessible on campus. LAN operates on specialized library software i.e. SOUL 2.0, INFLIBNET, a user-friendly package that facilitates the issue and return of books, and online access to the catalogue and issuing of books. The library has adopted the latest information technology like CDs, DVDs, Multimedia Kits, Barcode Scanners, Text, and Graphic Scanners for effective use of library services. The library has a wide range of resources; it includes textbooks, reference books, electronic databases, a large collection of video cassettes, photograph albums, CDs, subscriptions to newspapers etc. Library has a sufficient number of textbooks, and a wide range of reference books & journals which cover almost all areas of Nursing, Life Science, Computer Science and Management. The library also provides various reports and data collection of different corporate groups in the form of CDs. This centre helps to develop research capabilities and entrepreneurship skills among the students.

BOYS & GIRLS NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME (NSS)

National Service Scheme, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports Govt. of India, popularly known as NSS was established and working efficiently to achieve its objectives since 2009.

CANTEEN AND MESS

The campus has a very spacious mess: equipped with furniture, and other facilities, Students dining in the mess are free to decide their menu for the week. Care is taken regarding the taste, hygiene, and nutritional value of the food. Due importance is given to the choices of the students from different locations in India, which gives them a feeling of home-cooked food, away from home.

BOYS & GIRLS NATIONAL CADET CORPS INDIA (NCC)

With a view to awakening the students to the needs of nation-building, social awareness and social upliftment the National Cadet Corps has been established in IPS. NCC offers ample opportunities for students to learn and contribute in these fields. This unit of our College is quite dynamic and is committed to providing our students with opportunities to participate in a wide array of activities, and the students can choose either, depending on their interests. While the NSS unit regularly organizes Blood Donation Camps and social awareness campaigns for our students to participate in, the NCC offers them basics military training. Students enrolled with the NCC unit are instructed in rifle shooting, the use of ammunition, basic first-aid, mountaineering and trekking through tough terrains, along with participation in drills and parades.

TRANSPORTATION

The College has a fleet of buses to provide transportation facilities to students and staff. Bus routes are well planned to cover all the areas of the city and some areas of the outskirts. Each bus is equipped with a first aid box and fire extinguisher.

MEDICAL FACILITIES

It is College policy to provide first aid support if someone is injured or becomes unwell on College premises, or whilst engaged in activities associated with Academic life.

SPORTS CLUB

This enthusiasm is inculcated through various sports activities like Football, Cricket, Volleyball, and Badminton, held on campus. Outdoor sports and indoor games provide a refreshing break from the hectic schedule of academia. The competition among the students is intense and the levels of enthusiasm are high.
