Material Testing Laboratory:

The Institute is founded in February 1976 with the sole aim of dissemination of knowledge in the field of road transport one of the subsidiary objectives was to provide testing facilities for automobile spares and components purchased by transport undertakings. With this objective, the laboratory was started in the permanent complex at the Institute of Road Transport, Taramani, Chennai in july 1979.

Admission

The college offers 4 full-time diploma courses in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Admission to the college is based on merit.

Placement

Every year around 70% of students get placed by top recruiting companies like Nokia, and many IT and software companies to name a few. The salary offer ranges between INR 9,500 to INR 15000 per month and in some cases even more than that.
